“They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony…” – Revelation 12:11 (NIV)
There is power in your testimony. Not because it’s polished or perfect, but because it’s real.
Sometimes all someone needs is to hear that you got through it — that you survived the storm, that God pulled you from the pit, that you found light in the darkest place. That gives others hope. It gives them the courage to believe, “If God did it for them, maybe He can do it for me too.”
See, when we open up and share what we’ve been through — the addiction, the pain, the broken marriage, the silent suffering — it tears down walls. It tells someone else, “You’re not alone.”
Shame thrives in silence. But healing begins when we bring our struggles to the light. And that starts by admitting, “God, I need You. I can’t do this alone.” Jesus said, “Come as you are.” Not “Come fixed.” Not “Come clean.” Just come.
Our testimonies aren’t about bragging on how far we’ve come. They’re about pointing to how far He has brought us. We’re not here to preach religion — we preach love, we preach hope, we preach change.
And that change, that hope, that freedom — it all begins with love. The love Christ showed us is the same love we’re called to show others. That’s how we lead. That’s how we bring others to Christ — one testimony at a time.
So don’t hide your story. Someone’s waiting to hear it.
