Are Your Words Empty of Life?
Words are easy. Life is lived in our actions.
We can make promises, give advice, talk about faith, speak of love, or claim integrity—but if our lives don’t reflect our words, those words become empty. They carry sound, but no life.
The world has enough people who say the right things. What it needs are people whose lives give credibility to their words.
Jesus didn’t simply teach love—He loved. He didn’t merely preach forgiveness—He forgave. He didn’t just speak about sacrifice—He willingly laid down His life. His actions gave life to His words.
As followers of Christ, we are called to do the same. If our words say one thing while our lives say another, our testimony loses its power.
Today, ask yourself:
Are my words full of life because my actions support them, or are they empty because I never live them out?
“Little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.”
— 1 John 3:18 (NKJV)
May our lives preach the Gospel long before our mouths ever do.
