Be a Blessing
Scripture:
“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”
Galatians 6:2
We all carry burdens that others cannot see. Some are physical, some emotional, and some spiritual. It’s easy to become so focused on our own responsibilities that we overlook the quiet struggles of those around us.
Jesus never ignored the hurting. He noticed the overlooked, encouraged the discouraged, and carried the burdens of those who couldn’t carry them alone. As His followers, we are called to do the same.
Being a blessing doesn’t always require a grand gesture. Sometimes it’s a prayer, a phone call, a listening ear, a kind word, or simply being present. God often uses ordinary acts of love to accomplish extraordinary things in someone’s life.
Today, ask the Lord to open your eyes to someone who needs encouragement. Be willing to set aside your own agenda for a moment so you can be the hands and feet of Christ. You may never know the full impact of your kindness, but God does.
As you help carry another person’s burden, you may find that God is quietly helping carry yours.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the love You continually show me. Open my eyes to the needs of those around me and give me a heart that is quick to serve. Help me to love as You love, encourage as You encourage, and be a blessing wherever You lead me today. May my life reflect Your compassion and grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Blessings,
