Consistency

Scripture:

Luke 16:10 (CJB)
Whoever is faithful in small matters will be faithful in large ones as well.

Reflection:

I asked a brother to call me at 6:00 a.m. every morning to help me get back into a routine and bring some consistency into my life. I asked him because I knew he would do it. I knew I could count on him.

That got me thinking: would someone say the same about me? Would they trust my word? Would they believe I would show up, follow through, and be consistent?

Consistency is not just about discipline. It is about character. It is about being someone others can rely on. In a world full of excuses, delays, and broken commitments, faithfulness stands out. God calls us to be people who do what we say, show up when it matters, and remain steady in both small things and big things.

Ask yourself today: based on my actions, would someone trust me to be there? Would they know they can count on me?

Encouragement:

Be the kind of person whose consistency reflects the faithfulness of God. Your steady walk, your dependable word, and your willingness to show up may be the very thing God uses to strengthen someone else.
