Disruptions

Scripture (CJB):

“Adonai directs a person’s steps, and he delights in his way.” — Psalm 37:23

Reflection:

We often assume every disruption in our lives comes from the enemy—comfort shaken, routines interrupted, relationships shifted. Our first thought is, “Why is Satan attacking me?” But not every disruption is an attack. Sometimes it is the gentle (and sometimes not-so-gentle) hand of God redirecting your steps.

There are moments when Adonai must shake us free from comfort because comfort can often keep us in places not meant for our future. Disruptions can be divine rerouting—nudging you back onto the path He designed, aligning you with the right people, or moving you away from distractions that you would never move from on your own.

And sometimes He simply wants to reveal where your faith truly stands. When life shifts, pause. Don’t just react—discern. Ask, “Father, is this You? Is this something I need to notice? Is this a step You’re taking me through to change my direction?”

God knows the path even when we don’t. Trust that His disruptions are often His direction.

Encouragement:

Brother, when the ground shakes beneath you, don’t assume it’s the enemy breaking you—sometimes it’s the Father building you. Step back, breathe, and listen. He may be guiding you into something greater than you imagined. Remember, even when life feels uncertain, His plan is never shaken.

I believe the key here is to be consistent with your faith in God, trust in His word, know that He can can turn the bad for your good and that He is with you always.
