Do You Believe… or Have You Surrendered?

Many people say they believe in Jesus Christ.

But remember this:

“You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble!”
—James 2:19 (NKJV)

The devil believes Jesus is the Son of God. He knows His power. He knows His authority. He even knows his own eternal destiny.

Yet Satan is not saved.

Why?

Because belief without surrender is still rebellion.

The question isn’t simply, “Do you believe in Jesus?”

The question is:

Have you surrendered your life to Him?

Have you laid down your own will for His?

Have you made Him more than your Savior—have you made Him your Lord?

True faith doesn’t just acknowledge Christ.
True faith follows Him.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, I don’t want a faith that only knows about You. I want a heart that belongs completely to You. Teach me to surrender every part of my life to Your will. Amen.
