Do You Walk the Walk Every Day?

Scripture:

“Whatever you do, put yourselves wholeheartedly into it, as working for the Lord and not for human masters.” — Colossians 3:23 (CJB)

Reflection:

On days like today, everyone expects the usual message: “What are you thankful for?” But the Lord put something different on my heart.

Are we only cheerful, grateful, prayerful, and intentional on the days society tells us to be? Or do we walk that walk every day?

It’s easy to send encouraging messages on Thanksgiving or Christmas. It’s easy to smile, serve, pray, and show love when the whole world is doing the same. But what about the ordinary days—those days in the middle of the year when life is busy, stressful, or quiet?

Imagine if the same people you texted today got that same love and encouragement every week…or even every day. For some, holidays are the only time they hear from people. But you carry the love of Christ inside you. Imagine how their world would change if that love reached them more than twice a year.

Let’s look inward. Are we walking the walk daily, or only on the holidays? The world doesn’t need a seasonal Christian—it needs a steady light, a consistent encouragement, a faithful brother or sister who reflects Yeshua every single day.

Encouragement:

Ask the Lord today to help you love consistently, not occasionally. Let your gratitude and kindness spill over into the ordinary days. Someone’s breakthrough might come from your everyday obedience, not a holiday greeting.

This is so true and I’m blessed to have a group of men around me that care and check on me. I need to reciprocate.that back as well. Thanks you brother for helping me see that.
