Don’t Turn Back

Scripture:

“No one who puts his hand to the plow and keeps looking back is fit for the Kingdom of God.”

— Luke 9:62 (CJB)

Reflection:

There comes a point in our walk with God where looking back becomes dangerous. The enemy loves to pull our eyes toward old habits, old pain, old failures, and even old comforts that God already called us out of. But you cannot move forward in obedience while your heart is still tied to what God delivered you from.

God did not bring you this far to leave you halfway healed, halfway free, or halfway committed. When He calls you forward, He calls you to trust Him fully. The past may explain you, but it does not own you. In Messiah, your direction matters more than your history.

Encouragement:

Keep your eyes forward. What God has ahead of you is greater than what He brought you out of. Don’t turn back to what almost destroyed you. Walk boldly into what God is building in you. His hand is on your life, and He is faithful to finish what He started.
