How do you fight your battles? Do you open your mouth in prayer to the Father, or do you stay silent? Do you swing with your fists, or do you lead with your heart? Do you stand on Scripture, or do you rely on the voices of this world?
Scripture:
“I called on your name, Adonai, from the depths of the pit. You heard my plea… You drew near when I called on you and said, ‘Don’t be afraid.’”
— Lamentations 3:55–57 (CJB)
Reflection:
The battles we face are not won with silence or self-reliance. They’re won when we open our mouths and call on Adonai. Prayer is not passive—it’s warfare. When we choose to fight with our heart instead of our hands, we are choosing the way of Yeshua, who conquered not with violence, but with truth, love, and obedience.
And when we lean on Scripture instead of worldly advice, we anchor ourselves in what is eternal. The world changes its opinions daily; the Word of God stands forever. Every victory you’ve ever received came because God moved—so why not start the next battle by inviting Him in?
Encouragement:
Don’t silence your prayers.
Don’t swing your fists.
Don’t borrow the world’s wisdom.
Open your mouth.
Engage your heart.
Stand on the Word.
This is how a child of God fights—and this is how a child of God wins.
