Stand in the Gap
In Men’s Alliance, we call ourselves a tribe of men—growing together physically, spiritually, and emotionally. It’s a place where every man is encouraged to step up and get involved.
Recently, one of the young men in our group—a freshman in high school—had his first football game. His father isn’t in the picture, so several of us brothers showed up in the stands. We yelled, we cheered, and we let him know he had men in his corner. That’s what being kingdom men is about.
God calls us to lead—not just in our own homes, but wherever He places us. It’s not limited to our children; sometimes it’s someone else’s son, a younger brother, or even an older man who needs encouragement. Every person we encounter is someone God has entrusted us to care for.
So look around your life today:
Is there someone who needs you to show up? Someone who needs to know they can count on you? Maybe it’s a child without a father, a brother who feels alone, or a friend carrying a heavy burden.
Stand in the gap. Be the brother, the mentor, the father figure. Be the one who shows them that God’s love shows up through His people.
“As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” (Proverbs 27:17, CJB)
