The Lord Stood With Me

 

Scripture:

“But the Lord stood by me and gave me power, so that through me the message would be fully proclaimed…” — 2 Timothy 4:17 (CJB)

 

Reflection:

There are moments when you feel like Paul — surrounded, opposed, misunderstood, or simply worn down by the battles of life. People may walk away, support may fade, and the weight of responsibility can make you feel like you’re standing alone.

But the Word reminds us of a deeper truth: you have never stood alone, not for one moment.

Just as Adonai stood beside Paul in his darkest hour, strengthening him to speak boldly and finish the assignment placed on his life, He stands with you in yours. His presence isn’t distant or symbolic — it’s active, empowering, and overflowing with purpose.

Every challenge you face becomes an opportunity for His strength to be revealed in you. Every step forward you take, even when trembling, is backed by the God who never abandons His children.

 

Encouragement:

Take heart today. If the battle feels heavy, remember that the Lord Himself is standing right beside you, pouring strength into your spirit. You don’t walk into any room, any conflict, or any calling alone.

Stand firm, speak boldly, and move forward with confidence — the King is at your side.
