When God Feels Silent, Seek Him Anyway
Scripture (CJB):
“Then you will seek me and find me, when you search for me with all your heart.”
— Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 29:13
Reflection:
There are seasons when we cry out to God and it feels like nothing changes. The silence can feel louder than the pain. But God’s quiet is not His absence. Scripture never promises instant relief—but it does promise His nearness to the brokenhearted. Seeking God is not about feeling better right away; it’s about refusing to let go even when your hands are tired.
Encouragement:
If today all you can do is whisper His name, that is still seeking. If all you can do is stay sober, stay breathing, and stay present—that matters. God hears prayers soaked in tears just as clearly as prayers spoken in peace. Don’t stop seeking Him just because the road is hard. He is closer than you think.
