Where Are You Sitting—Friday, Saturday, or Sunday?
Scripture:
“But if you do what is good and suffer for it and endure, this finds favor with God. For to this you were called, because the Messiah also suffered on your behalf, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in His steps.”
— 1 Peter 2:20–21 (CJB)
Reflection:
On Sunday, a question was asked that hits deeper than most—
Where are you sitting right now?
Are you in Friday—the pain, the suffering, the weight of it all?
Are you in Saturday—the waiting, the wondering, the “why, God?”
Or have you stepped into Sunday—the victory, the breakthrough, the promise fulfilled?
Jesus didn’t just go through the cross to save us—He showed us how to walk through it.
He endured the suffering.
He walked through the silence.
And He rose in victory.
The truth is—many of us aren’t stuck in Friday anymore…
We’re stuck in Saturday.
We know God is working.
We’ve seen His faithfulness before.
But we’re still sitting in the waiting… still asking why… still holding back.
And sometimes, it’s not even about God’s timing—
it’s about our willingness to move forward in faith.
God has already written the victory.
The battle has already been won.
But we have to choose to step out of the waiting and walk into what He’s already prepared.
Encouragement:
Today, take an honest look at where you’re sitting.
If you’re in Friday—hold on. God is with you in the pain.
If you’re in Saturday—don’t stay there. Trust Him enough to move.
If you’re stepping into Sunday—walk boldly in the victory He’s already secured.
You weren’t called to live in the waiting.
You were called to walk in victory.
So… where are you sitting today?
