Your future may feel uncertain, but your hope is firmly anchored in Christ.
Scripture (CJB):
“For I know what plans I have in mind for you,” says Adonai, “plans for well-being, not for bad things; so that you can have hope and a future.”
— Jeremiah 29:11 (CJB)
Reflection:
We live in a world that constantly reminds us of how little control we truly have. Plans change. Doors close. Answers don’t always come when we want them. Uncertainty can shake us—if our hope is rooted in outcomes, timing, or our own strength.
But Scripture reminds us that our hope is not meant to rest in what we can see. Our hope is in Christ, who stands outside of time and is never caught off guard. While we may not know what tomorrow holds, we do know the One who holds tomorrow. And that makes all the difference.
Encouragement:
When the path ahead feels unclear, don’t let fear write the story. Let faith lead instead. Trust that God is at work even when you can’t trace His hand. Keep walking, keep praying, keep trusting. Hope in Christ will never disappoint. As it says, “Those who hope in Adonai will renew their strength” (Isaiah 40:31, CJB).
